Flamenco Story Circle

  • Julia de Burgos Cultural Arts Center 2800 Archwood Avenue Cleveland, OH, 44109 United States (map)

Do you have a story about flamenco to share? Or are you curious to learn how others connect with it? This Story Circle is an informal space to share experiences, challenges, and personal moments with flamenco as a student, professional, or simply an admirer. It’s an open invitation to connect through personal stories and discover the impact flamenco has had on each of us.

Join us for Abrepaso Flamenco’s Story Circle on January 26th, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, at the Julia de Burgos Cultural Arts Center in the Artist House. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided.

What to Expect
Story Circles are an empowering way to share and connect. They invite people from all backgrounds to speak and listen without judgment. Story Circles aren’t formal discussions led by experts, but rather a space created by and for the community to openly share personal stories.

Each participant sits close, free from distractions, and shares a personal experience without interruptions, building on others' stories. A Story Circle creates a unique, equal space for everyone’s voice to be heard—whether you’re used to speaking up or holding back. Together, participants find connections and themes in one another’s stories, leading to a shared understanding by the end.

Come join us for an afternoon of connection, learning, and the simple joy of storytelling in the heart of Cleveland’s flamenco community!
